The Guadalupe Association, located at 169 Santo Expedito Street in the Residencial União neighborhood in São José dos Campos, was established in 2013 with its main mission being the defense of life from conception to natural death. “Human life must be respected and protected absolutely from the moment of conception. From the first moment of their existence, human beings must have their rights as individuals recognized, including the inviolable right of every innocent being to life” (cf. Catholic Church Catechism, n. 2270). Therefore, the organization daily strives to strengthen its bond with pregnant women in situations of social vulnerability through assistance in the areas of social welfare and health. Hence, the Guadalupe Association spares no effort to protect both mother and child, always with a perspective of preserving both lives.
